2.33. Check and adjustment of turns of idling

GENERAL INFORMATION

Turns of idling are turns of the engine without pressing an accelerator pedal.

Change of turns of idling of the engine can be caused by several reasons:

 – deposits around a butterfly valve in the throttle case;
 – vacuum leak in the basis of the case of a throttle, an inlet collector or the torn vacuum hose;
 – несправен ISC valve.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect a tachometer to the engine according to the maintenance instruction.
2. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
3. Check turns of idling of the engine. Include everything electric consumers of the car and again measure idling turns.
4. Turns of idling are run by the computer therefore do not rotate the persistent screw of a butterfly valve for installation of turns of idling.
5. In a motor compartment the identification plate with information of control of emission of exhaust gases and the instruction for installation of turns of idling is located.
