2.9. Tires and check of pressure in tires

GENERAL INFORMATION

Measurement of depth of the drawing of a protector of the tire

Depth of the drawing of a protector of tires can be controlled by special adaptation. At achievement of extreme wear of the tire it is necessary to replace.

Uneven wear of tires and the reasons which caused it


 Uneven wear:

– wheels are not balanced or disks of wheels are bent;
 – wear of steering draft;
 – wear of a forward suspension bracket.


Low pressure of air in tires.

High pressure of air in tires.

Wrong positive convergence or big disorder.

Wear because of not coaxiality.

Continuous check of a condition of tires will allow to find in due time intensive wear and to remove its cause that will allow to avoid more serious consequences.

With uneven wear of tires it is necessary to find the reason of it and to eliminate it (see rice. The uneven wear of tires and the reasons which caused it).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check tires for existence of cuts, punctures and foreign objects in tires.
2. Check reliability of screwing up of a zolotnik.
3. Places of leak of air from the tire can be defined by soapsuds.
4. Carefully survey internal lateral face of each tire on existence of traces of brake fluid.
5. The required pressure in tires prolongs the term of their service therefore it needs to be checked regularly. You make control of pressure in tires only on cold tires.
